A misty walk in the mountains

With Winter somewhere round the bend, I thought we could try out our new woolly clothing. Picking a secluded area of the Lake District for a walk. Starting around the Wrynose Pass area.

Weather was set for mist in the morning and clearing as the day progressed. It did not clear. We still had fun.

Walking between the hills would have been impossible without my GPS guiding with reference to our trusty paper maps. We had a lot of fun, making it back to the car just in time before it went dark. A whole day walking. 6 hours with few souls seen, 3 frames to show. Sometimes I guess that is how it is. These three frames are by no way the best I have shot, but they represent that day.

We managed to cover Pike O Blisco, Great Knott and Cold Pike.

Thanks for reading.
